• TPF Tuition Reimbursement Program

    THE PATTERSON FOUNDATION (TPF)
    TUITION/FEES REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM (TRP)

OVERVIEW

Since 2018, The Patterson Foundation has collaborated with Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy (LFSOP) through its Advancing Philanthropic Leadership initiative. Recognizing the value of academic and professional educational experiences offered by LFSOP, TPF has implemented an opportunity for TPF Staff and Consultants to enroll in LFSOP graduate and professional development courses and be reimbursed upon successful completion for tuition, fees and materials/travel allowance associated with such enrollment.

COURSE ELIGIBILITY

  • Any course offered by the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy is eligible for tuition/fee reimbursement.

TPF ELIGIBILITY

  1. TPF Staff, including Fellows, after 90 days of employment
  2. Consultants qualify to participate on the first day of the month following their one-year anniversary, providing they worked 250 hours in the prior 12 months.
  3. Participants must meet Lilly Family School admissions eligibility.

REQUIREMENTS

  • For academic courses, in-state tuition rates apply; The Fund Raising School tuition rates have no discount applied. Contact Pamela Clark (pamelac@iu.edu) to learn how to apply and be sure to receive in-state tuition rates.
  • TPF TRP will reimburse up to $100/course for books, software, or other course-required materials and up to $500 for travel expenses should the participant travel to participate live in a multi-day intense course offering.
  • If you desire to pursue graduate studies but have not yet completed an undergraduate degree, we suggest that you complete such a degree locally, and then take advantage of this opportunity as desired.
  • TPF Staff/Consultants desiring to enroll are required to confirm eligibility with Nancy Vafeas (nvafeas@ThePattersonFoundation.org) prior to enrollment.
  • Staff/Consultant participants will initially pay tuition and fees for course enrollment. Upon the successful completion of such course, given they are still employed/engaged with The Patterson Foundation, the TRP Participant will be reimbursed for tuition/fees paid and materials/travel allowance after submission of the TRP Reimbursement Form.
