Margin & Mission Ignition is a 30-month business-planning, implementation, and coaching initiative for nonprofit organizations that demonstrate leadership, willingness, readiness, capacity, and a culture that supports innovation and growth. Through this rigorous process, participating organizations build thrivability and strengthen their ability to advance their missions.

To support this opportunity, The Patterson Foundation engaged No Margin, No Mission, a nationally recognized consulting practice that helps nonprofits strengthen entrepreneurial capacity, diversify revenue, and increase mission impact through earned income and social enterprise. By bringing this expertise to our community, the Foundation is helping nonprofit leaders explore new possibilities for sustainability and growth.

Fueling Dynamic Fundraising helps nonprofit organizations strengthen their fundraising capacity and expand their mission impact. Through a partnership with The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Indianapolis Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, The Patterson Foundation brings nationally recognized fundraising expertise to our community through proven courses, cohort-based learning, and ongoing implementation support.

Designed to go beyond a one-time training experience, Fueling Dynamic Fundraising provides opportunities for nonprofit leaders and organizations to build fundraising knowledge, apply proven strategies, and strengthen practices that support long-term sustainability and growth.

No Margin, No Mission is a national consulting practice that has partnered with The Patterson Foundation since 2013 to help strengthen nonprofits on Florida’s Suncoast. No Margin, No Mission’s Managing Partners and Principals, Michael Oxman and Larry Clark, are thought leaders and experts in nonprofit thrivability who have worked with organizations across the country to help boost their entrepreneurial capacity, revenue, and mission impact.

Thrivability is the ability to move beyond simply sustaining an organization’s work and create the conditions for it to truly thrive.
