Each year, past, present, and future fellows gather over Presidents Day weekend, which often falls around Valentine’s Day, making the time together feel even more meaningful. It has become a special tradition centered on connection, reflection, and professional growth.
As we wrapped up the weekend and shared our final remarks, something that stood out to me was a fellow’s reflection that each year this gathering creates an opportunity to strengthen our relationships and grow our connections with one another. Another fellow shared that although she was new and had not met anyone before, she immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. Moments like these are a reminder that TPF has done an incredible job selecting what we often call “changemakers,” thoughtful, well-rounded leaders who are deeply committed to making a difference.
This weekend was not only fun but also a meaningful opportunity to connect and learn more about each other. While we make efforts to stay in touch throughout the year, there is something about being in the same room, listening to one another’s thoughts, processing ideas together, and sharing our perspectives in real time.
Throughout the experience, I found myself in awe of the fellows, each person bringing unique intelligence, diverse interests, and valuable expertise. This community continues to shape the trajectory of our lives, reminding us that we have like-minded people we can always lean on for support, encouragement, and inspiration.
