The Sunsets Over Advancing Mission Thrivability

Posted on June 01, 2023 by Michael Corley, consultant with The Patterson Foundation
Advancing Mission Thrivibility (AMT) was born out of a desire to support nonprofit organizations needing to make important business decisions due to COVID. When COVID shut down the world in 2020, and the demand for nonprofit services escalated while donations were in jeopardy, nonprofit organizations began planning for the worse. This made sense because it was important for CEOs to make decisions to preserve the viability of the organizations they were leading.

The Patterson Foundation recognized this challenge and created AMT to provide professional consulting support to aid the CEO's decision-making process. Engaging No Margin, No Mission to create the program, TPF launched AMT as an opportunity for regional nonprofits to learn a mission-centric, economically informed approach to decision-making for their programs, products, and services. Thirteen organizations participated over a series of cohorts.

Having worked through the challenges of the pandemic, TPF is now sunsetting AMT. Please enjoy reading through the various blogs to discover how the initiative supported CEOs of regional nonprofits during a time of uncertainty.
