Since spring 2020, Suncoast Villages has had dozens of meetings with leaders and organizations locally and across the nation to listen, learn, share, and synthesize. These conversations have contributed deeply and shaped our way forward as an agile learning entity.

One of our early stops was to the Senior Friendship Centers. SFC graciously agreed to become the fiscal sponsor of Suncoast Villages as it organizes its application materials to apply to the state and federal government to become a nonprofit organization. We want to shout out to just a few of the groups and organizations with which we are connecting: The Paradise Center Longboat Key, Sarasota County Aging Stakeholders, Jewish Family and Children's Services of the Suncoast, CitySide Apartments, Area Agency on Aging (Sarasota), Tidewell Foundation, City of Bradenton, Realize Bradenton, Downtown Sarasota Condominium Association, Neighbors Network of Lee County, Village to Village Network, and Charlotte County Human Services.

We've met with all of the villages in Florida and facilitated the development the Florida Villages Network. We have spoken to dozens of villages across the country and we are in regular communication with leaders of the national Village to Village Network.

We invite you to join us as we connect with our communities. Here's how:
