Accelerating Momentum: Fueling Dynamic Fundraising to Launch New Learning Labs and Courses

Posted on September 26, 2025 by Sara Leonard, MBA, CFRE, Fueling Dynamic Fundraising Lead
The Fueling Dynamic Fundraising (FDF) initiative is preparing a series of advanced training sessions designed to help participating organizations put key fundraising strategies into action. These opportunities for nonprofits that completed The Fund Raising School’s in-person courses earlier this year combine expert-led learning with hands-on support to ensure each organization leaves with practical tools ready for use.

Virtual Learning Labs + Working Sessions — Two focused tracks will be available:
Stewardship Plan
  • Learning Lab: A two-hour virtual course led by The Fund Raising School faculty, Vicki Pugh, CFRE, CAP, and Erik Daubert, MBA, ACFRE. This session takes a deeper dive into how to create, evaluate, and utilize an effective Stewardship Plan.
  • Working Sessions: Facilitated by the FDF team, these small-group sessions provide feedback and guidance as organizations apply what they’ve learned. The end result: a finalized Stewardship Plan ready for immediate implementation.
Case for Support
  • Learning Lab: A two-hour virtual course, also led by Pugh and Daubert, focused on building, refining, and using a compelling Case for Support.
  • Working Sessions: Hosted by the FDF team, these sessions offer opportunities to receive peer and expert input while developing or finalizing a Case for Support. The process concludes with a practical, ready-to-use tool to strengthen fundraising efforts.
This blended model of faculty-led learning, paired with facilitated working sessions, ensures participants gain both knowledge and the confidence to apply it directly to their organizations.

Upcoming Virtual Courses
In addition to the Learning Labs, The Fund Raising School will deliver two more research-based, interactive courses:
  • Annual Sustainability
  • Planned Giving
Each course is taught by expert faculty, offers usable tools for immediate application, and is eligible for CFRE continuing education credits.

Consulting Support
A limited number of organizations will also have the chance to receive one-on-one consulting through FDF. Selected participants will work closely with the FDF team to implement strategies or initiatives from their training. This individualized support is designed to strengthen leadership capacity and ensure organizations can move from ideas to action.
