Turning Outward via Harwood Virtual Labs
Posted on March 29, 2023On the evening of April 10th, Aspirations to Actions (A2A) team members Cheri Coryea, Sherry Oehler, and Kiarra Louis convened the next cohort of TPFers who will participate in Harwood Institute’s Virtual Public Innovators Labs beginning in May 2023. The Lab includes five weekly interactive sessions with Harwood’s team of certified coaches where participants will learn how to catalyze a chain reaction of actions in their community, develop ways to discover what matters to people, discern where their community is starting, and identify how they each can show up more intentionally in their work and life.
Our Public Innovators in the making include Alicia Exantus, Marla Smith, Melissa Hirstein, Rachel Hettinger, Kellie Alexander, and two newest members of TPF’s Fellows Program, Andrew Spector and Avery Crews Prado de Lima.
In preparation for the five weekly sessions, the A2A team hosted one of three cohort meetings to share how each participant can make the most of this informative experience by learning from their coaches and peers, building connective tissue, and arriving with an open mind and heart. When asked about their initial thoughts, feelings, and aspirations, we heard they were excited, curious, and inspired as they looked towards growing, learning, connecting, and making an impact!
We look forward to sharing their journey in the months to come!
