This past year has been exciting for me. I have been all over the place and have been challenged to bring people together. And our team has done just that!

United Sarasota is a collaborative group comprised of diverse individuals who have come together as part of The Patterson Foundation’s Aspirations to Actions initiative to cultivate community conversations toward the development of innovative solutions for positive change.

Over the past 18 months, we have made great progress engaging people in our community, as well as developing strong relationships with the following partners: Multicultural Health Institute, Neighborhood Associations, North Sarasota Businesses, Booker Middle School, Booker High School, Emma E. Booker Elementary, SCOPE, USF Sarasota/Manatee, Ringling College, New College, City of Sarasota and Sarasota County.

Aspirations to Actions is a lot of work! But it has made me stop and think, and it gave me my passion back for getting things done. I have my roller skates on!
