Hannah Saeger Karnei
Hannah works with the Arras Foundation in Lancaster, SC, as their first Strategic Initiatives Coordinator. Through this role, she manages projects focused on finding creative ways to use philanthropy to grow a healthier community. Prior to joining Arras Foundation, Hannah served as The Patterson Foundation's Inaugural Fellow from 2019-2021.
Hannah received her master's degree in philanthropic studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, the world's first school dedicated solely to the study and teaching of philanthropy.
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Hannah worked in marketing and communications before pursuing her passion for philanthropy. She is inspired to propel the aspirations of individuals, organizations, and communities through the innovative use of philanthropy to create brighter futures.

Along with her husband Kyle, Hannah enjoys traveling, good food, books, organizing, and spending time with family and friends.
