Ericia Henry
Ericia Henry joined The Patterson Foundation as its tenth Fellow in June 2024. She graduated in May 2024 with a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. During her graduate studies, she also completed certificates in Nonprofit Management from the O’Neill School and in Fundraising Management from The Fund Raising School. Prior to this, Ericia earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Professional Sales, with a minor in Public Relations, from Indiana University Southeast.
As a first-generation college student, Ericia’s educational journey shaped her worldview and strengthened her desire to help others. Her experiences fueled a commitment to creating opportunities for leadership and educational development, which ultimately led her to pursue a degree in philanthropy. Along this path, her passion for making a meaningful impact and contributing to positive community change continued to grow.
During her time at The Patterson Foundation, Ericia built strong relationships with internal staff, consultants, and community members. She led and co-led projects while supporting high-level initiatives such as Advancing Philanthropic Leadership, Immersion, and Fueling Dynamic Fundraising, among others. Her direct involvement in these efforts and her collaboration with diverse partners helped shape her into a thoughtful, emerging philanthropic professional.
Ericia launched from The Patterson Foundation in April 2026 and now serves as a Stewardship and Engagement Officer at Kiwanis International Headquarters. In this role, she works within the stewardship and development team, supporting responsibilities across both areas.
Ericia is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new hobbies, participating in CrossFit, walking, running, and spending time with family, especially her nephew, Carson, and close friends.
