Alexa Carr
Alexa Carr joined The Patterson Foundation as its ninth fellow in July 2023.
Alexa graduated in May 2023 with her Philanthropic Studies MA from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Carr also completed her undergraduate years at IUPUI— majoring in Biology and Philanthropic Studies. Additionally, she completed her Certificate in Fund Raising Management through The Fund Raising School in 2023.
Prior to starting at TPF, Alexa held development, fundraising, and research roles at the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, PATTERN, IU Health Foundation, and the IU Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics.
Alexa is excited to work alongside people who are passionate about making an equitable and intentional philanthropic impact in the community. She looks forward to learning from the team and developing as an innovative leader in the nonprofit sector.
Alexa is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, but she currently resides in Sarasota, Florida. She enjoys concerts, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
