Carrie Miley joined the Engagement Team in March of 2022, supporting the work of the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, a four-county effort in Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. The campaign fosters wide community participation to achieve shared aspirations for the success of families and children.

Carrie holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of South Florida and is dedicated to using her skills to drive positive change regionally and beyond.

In her classroom, she encourages students to support one another, especially if someone seems to be struggling. She talks about how everyone comes together with different abilities and that we need to use our strengths to build up the strengths in others. She hopes this mindset will stay with them throughout their lives and that they will use it to enhance the communities around them in the future.

She is currently enrolled at Indiana University Indianapolis Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, working toward a Certificate in Philanthropic Studies, with plans to pursue a master's degree.

Outside of work and school, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
