But as we’ve moved forward, the Foundation has evolved in important ways. That’s because changing reality isn’t a destination — it’s a journey.
Just as journeys can involve many modes of travel, New Realities can take numerous forms, including fresh approaches, original ideas and bold methods to leverage resources and inspire communities. Although New Realities can manifest themselves in various ways, they all have one thing in common: They result from connections made when people work together toward a common goal. At The Patterson Foundation, our work to achieve New Realities involves using Lenses to sharpen participants’ vision so that they see things not as they are, but as they could be.
