“Zoned In” Workshops


Workshops and panels showcased successful, creative, and meaningful ways in which organizations are supporting military families and those who have served, are serving, or may serve in the nation's armed forces. These eight educational sessions were held on November 15, 2014, at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, Florida.

Col. Steve Parker, executive director of the White House's Joining Forces initiative, gave the keynote address for the event and shared how Joining Forces is supporting the nation's service members and military families through improved access to employment, education, and wellness opportunities.
