Institute for the Ages and The Patterson Foundation Host Workshop on Collaborative Aging

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Institute for the Ages CEO Tom Esselman, The Patterson Foundation CEO Debra Jacobs and Institute for the Future Distinguished Fellow Richard Adler will host a 90-minute workshop at the American Society on Aging's annual Aging in America conference on March 14 in Chicago. The workshop focuses on community-oriented thinking about demographic change using the Institute for the Ages as an example.

Patriot Plaza Art Investment Honors Veterans, Inspires Patriotism

Sarasota, Fla. - The Patterson Foundation shared today a preview of the commissioned art that will be integrated throughout Patriot Plaza, the ceremonial amphitheater at Sarasota National Cemetery. The art featured throughout the 1.83-acre space honors veterans and inspires patriotism while telling the story of the complex facets of service and sacrifice that touch all veterans and their families.

Judith Sedgeman Consults With The Patterson Foundation

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Patterson Foundation announced today that Judith A. Sedgeman, EdD, former director of the Institute for Public Policy and Leadership at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, is the new initiative advisor for the foundation. Prior to her work at USF, Sedgeman, an international leader in the field of innate health and education, spent nearly 12 years on faculty of the West Virginia University School of Medicine and remains an adjunct professor at the university.
