The Patterson Foundation and Ringling College of Art & Design are collaborating on an initiative that will formally link multidisciplinary teams of students with companies and organizations seeking to leverage creative talent. The Ringling College Collaboratory will provide students with opportunities to apply their talent, expertise, creativity and design-thinking skills in a professional environment.
The collaboratory will work as a creative cauldron where businesses, nonprofits, governments and other organizations can work with Ringling students to help solve issues facing these entities. Students will work as teams along with faculty members in a professional setting that will provide the students with real-world experience that they can apply in future endeavors.
The Collaboratory offers clients access to a number of state-of-the-art art and design studios, equipment, tools, techniques, processes, media and mediums.
